๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ: Louise (Lou) is a witch who is on the run from her own coven, but is also in hiding from the Church and its Chasseur's who hunt them. When their paths cross, Lou and Chasseur Reid are both appalled when the only option seems to be marriage. Lou attempts to keep her identity hidden from Reid while also figuring out how to stay hidden from her own family.
๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ: Hate-to-love, interesting major arcs, but flimsy beginning (theft of ring)
๐–๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ : After the first few chapters, it started to really fly!
๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ: A little holier-than-thou to begin with, but really improved as the book went on

I thought I wouldn't be able to finish this book for the first 3 chapters. I truly didn't. I couldn't get into it and thought that both the plot, characters, and writing were all extremely poor. But, lo and behold, after the first bit was through, the plot, writing, and characters really took off. Don't let the first pages throw you off- this one was entertaining, if not perfect in every way.

๐Ÿ‘๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ:๐Ÿ‘
-Enemies-to-lovers
-Interesting overarching plot
-Quick moving writing- easily read in one or two sittings!

๐Ÿ‘Ž๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ:๐Ÿ‘
-Terrible first few chapters (there, I said it!)
-Minimal world-building
-The romance moved just a little too fast toward the end
